CML

CMF (also known as General Lib) is an Open Source propriety PHP library with over 60 packages, each package may contain several PHP classes. currently over 100 projects are using various versions of CMF as their back-end.

History

• 2006 first quarter : The first major version (v1) released
• 2007 last quarter : The second major version (v2) released
• 2007/07/30 : Moved under a private subversion repository
• 2009/07/11 : The third important and backward compatible version released (v2.5). This release contains smart package management and auto dependency resolving system , folder structure cleanup and many other improvements.
• 2010 : Repository migrated to Bazaar VCS
• 2011 first quarter : Two completely separated unofficial versions of CML are now under development by two different companies 
• 2012/03/26 : version 2.6 has been released to improve compatibility with PHP5 , E_ALL error reporting compatibility and support for third-party custom package repositories which mean that developers can use CML's package management system to load and manage their custom developed packages
• Present : Most of the important features of v3 included in version 2.5 and 2.6 and the development of v3 - altough is still under development - was no longer nessasry,
